A little post-Christmas cheer, completed tonight.

Gel transfer medium and hand-textured copper edges on canvas [12.20.15]

Finished this tonight. An 8x8 canvas featuring a gel medium transfer and hand-textured copper edges. My son, who is featured in the transfer, came by while I was working and told me I ought to give him this for Christmas, LOL. Started the canvas in a workshop with Jen Starr the previous weekend.

A leather cuff bracelet I handmade tonight for a friend. The stain turned out a little darker than I wanted, though.

Art Club: Reverse painting initials [11.7.15]

Holding an Art Club meeting at my son's school, where I usually get a dozen or so students (mostly elementary and junior high) who spend a few hours of their Saturday morning making some cool mixed media art. This session: Mixed media initials on canvas, using college and acrylics.

Fabulous handmade bracelet cuffs [11.15.15]

Held a bracelet cuff workshop at my home with about eight artist friends, taught by Kayann Ausherman with From Victory Road. Let me tell you, we had a FANTASTIC time making these gorgeous bracelets out of leather, paint, snaps and adornments.
